MES had a special visit from the Philly Phanatic. He came on Tuesday April 26th and entertained grades K-5 during a special surprise assembly. Our principal and Mrs. Nicholls read the school a story while the Phanatic acted out parts, led cheers and danced. The Phanatic came to MES becacuse some classes entered a Phillies reading contest. Mrs. Nicholl’s class completed the required reading and won the visit.
